On December 16, 2016, four years after inception, Babil Games LLC, a top-tier mobile game publisher in the MENA region, was acquired by Stillfront Group AB, listed on First North Premier Growth Market in Stockholm, Sweden, and became part of the international gaming powerhouse, for $17M. Babil Games LLC has announced the acquisition of 100% of its shares, with offices in Dubai/UAE and Amman/Jordan.
Babil Games was founded in 2012 by games professionals from the Middle East and Europe.
It’s business model is to help developers from around the world to successfully navigate international markets, with a focus on the MENA region, the world’s fastest-growing games market, and bring gamers culture-adapted, high-quality free-to-play games through creatively localizing art and content.
Babil’s success stems from its passionate, creative, high-spirited and dedicated team of talented artists and experienced professionals. Within a few months of the release of its first game, Nida Harb, Babil Games ranked in the Top-10 on iOS App Store for its outstanding strategy-action game.
Aside from its top-performing game, Nida Harb 3, Babil Games has a track record of successful high grossing titles, like Age of Kings, Tank Storm, War Storm, Admiral, and Baloot Royale as well as an exciting pipe-line of two new titles reaching the market within the coming months.
In regards to the acquisition, Babil Games’ founders and original team will remain on board and lead the company, under the umbrella of Stillfront.
